The Bayani Mini Sun Post Earrings - Gold
To increase the longevity of your R+L jewelry follow these simple steps.
- Store your jewelry in a sealed zip bag or container when not in use.
- Avoid chemicals, perfumes, and lotions.
- Avoid sleeping in jewelry to prevent unnecessary wear and tear.
- If your jewelry is looking dull, you can polish it right up with a polishing cloth!
- To clean them, wash with lukewarm water and dish soap.
- Limit exposure to water or chlorine water. Some of our metals have a shorter life span than others. The less you expose your pieces to water and chlorine water the longer it may last.
We offer a 1 year limited warranty from the date of purchase that covers any manufacturer defects. Below are some examples of warranty issues that can be fixed.
- Spring clasp breaking
- Chain disconnecting from the clasp/jump ring
- Chain breaking in the middle without force being applied to it (no stretched links)
- Ear post breaking
- Earring clasp breaking
What is not covered
- Gold Plated items.
- Fading of gold filled items or excessive scratching on surface from use of abrasive materials and or chemicals such as perfumes, hand sanitizers, and/or lotions.
- Hoops or chains that have been bent after purchase.
Please email hello@rhyandlia.com with the subject "Warranty for Order #xxxx" along with clear photos and a brief description of what the defect is, and we'll respond within 48-72 hours.
Please note that our warranty doesn't cover items that were broken with force, such as accidentally pulling on the chain and breaking it. If your item doesn't qualify for the warranty, we may be able to repair it for a small fee. Please also feel free to email us with the subject "Repair Request - Order #xxxx" along with clear photos of where it broke.
Our warranty also does not cover items that have been damaged due to improper care. Our gold filled items are sensitive to chemicals such as lotions, hand sanitizers, perfumes and excessive moisture (such as pool water, beach water, or showering daily with your jewelry on) and constant application of these things can cause damage to your gold filled items.
If you purchased some of our items at one of our pop-ups and you are having a warranty issue please email us at hello@rhyandlia.com. All sales from our pop-up are final but if you are having a warranty issue we will need to look up your purchase through payment transactions to validate purchase.

Most of our jewelry is made of 14k gold filled, 18k gold filled, gold overlay, and sterling silver. They are high quality and can last a lifetime with proper care! We do carry some gold plated items. These items will be indicated in the description.
- WHAT IS GOLD FILLED? Gold filled is an actual layer of real gold that has been bonded to another metal with high heat and pressure. Our 18k Brazilian gold filled has a slightly lower percentage of gold than our 14k US made gold filled which makes it more affordable than 14k US made gold filled. 18k Brazilian gold filled is also more sensitive to lotions, soaps, skin PH, etc. So if you have sensitive skin this piece may cause a reaction but in very rare cases. Our US made 14k gold filled has a much longer lifespan than our 18k Brazilian gold filled.
- WHAT IS GOLD OVERLAY? Our Gold Overlay jewelry is produced by applying gold onto the surface of a high quality brass and utilizing an advanced acid gold Electro-Depositing process. Unlike basic gold plated jewelry, Gold Overlay jewelry may be worn all the time. It has on average 5-7 times the thickness of most gold plated jewelry. Unlike basic gold plated jewelry, jewelry that is finished with an acid gold application has excellent long term wearing qualities comparable to gold filled jewelry.
- WHAT IS GOLD PLATING? Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold onto the surface of another metal, most often copper or silver, by chemical or electrochemical plating. Gold plating can last a number of years with proper care.
- DOES OUR JEWELRY CONTAIN NICKEL? No, our gold filled and sterling silver jewelry does not have nickel and is hypoallergenic, meaning that anyone with metal allergies can wear them!
